Emily Volk is a passionate healthcare professional whose experience has touched a wide array of sectors within the healthcare industry. She's served in a number of organizations and on several boards including the Editorial Board of Archives of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, the Public Affairs Committee, the College of American Pathologists Cytopathology Resource Committee, the See, Test and Treat Program, the Engaged Leadership Network, and the House of Delegates. Emily Volk has been an elected member on the board for the College of American Pathologists since 2012 and served as a volunteer member since 2000. Emily has also been heavily involved in the development of performance metrics appropriate for pathologists for the Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) which has since evolved into the Merit Incentive Based Payment System.
